A new business has just launched in Southern Chester County that is serving the county and the surrounding New Castle County in Delaware. The new business is Gift of Time. It is a personal shopping and errand service. Who wouldn’t love to have someone do their errands and shopping and free up some time in their lives!? These types of services make a great gift too!

A few years back I re-launched SW Stereo’s European Car Audio Site. Well, we have done the same thing, and hopefully this design is a bit more lasting. There were also significant back end engine upgrades, so changes and additions to the products lines will be easier than ever. Go check it out, and better yet, go order something for your Mercedes or Porsche!

Much progress has been made in the past few weeks.  We launched the Business and Restaurant directory and vastly improved our Google Ranking.  We are in the top 10 for “southern chester county pa”!  Not only that but we have added 2 new advertisers.  One, an up and coming Realtor, Natalia Beley, who is currently licensed in DE and pursuing her PA license.  The second is a brand new restaurant coming to Landenberg, Amici’s Fine Dining and Spirits.  Be sure to click on them and follow their links.  Marketing is under way as well, we are starting out soft with some mailers before hosting any events or parties, and the site is picking up on the message boards as well.  I really hope to find some real great contributors for the message board to drive some more repeat traffic, and have no doubts that these people will come!

SoChesCo.com is coming along nicely. Visitor counts are up and a low level marketing campaign has begun. I am really interested to see if the site catches on in this area, and I have high hopes that it will. Once people are engaged, hopefully they will spread the word, too. I am not so sure about the message board, if it will catch on, and if people are really used to participating in a forum or not. Time will tell I am sure. Still waiting for the Google bots to index my site! I submitted the site map, and now its just a wait and see. Though I have seen the Google bots in the access log files. They must be doing something!

Coming up for SoChesCo.com is the restaurant directory. So far the model is, restaurants get a free listing on the site, but advertisers will appear at the top of the page with links and maps. I will see how that works out for now.

This weekend I went out and took some pictures of the surrounding areas. The reason is, I have added a pictures section to sochesco.com. The challenge for this site will be to keep content fresh so people will want to come and check in, and pictures are just one more way of doing that. So, go check out the sochesco site, and go check out the pictures!

RNRL Online is a new business located in Southern Chester County, Pa. I am excited to be in business and willing to serve the community by fostering a new feeling of online community in this growing region. First and foremost with the launch of SoChesCo.com. A new website whose biggest selling point, I hope, will be the community message board. Being a fairly recent transfer to Chester County, my family and I were used to a bigger online community and more online resources for us to learn about our surroundings and the people who lived here. We really missed the town’s message board and the frienship and commradery it provided. Seeing that we did not find that in our new surroundings, what better way to improve our situation by starting one up ourselves!

We are not sure if it will catch on, but we sure hope it will, and we look forward to participating in the forums.
